Tesla later decided that it would offer modifications for owners who wanted a round steering wheel instead of a Yoke steering wheel, and Tesla began offering round steering wheel modifications earlier this month, apparently with the new round steering wheel so popular that the product is currently sold out.

Tesla began offering round steering wheel modifications on March 15 for up to $700 (CTOnews.com notes: currently about 4809 yuan). It can be purchased through the Tesla app, which will then schedule Tesla service appointments, and installation costs are included in the purchase price.

Tesla did not disclose how many round steering wheel modification kits were available for the Model S and Model X, but selling out in just eight days still shows that the kit is very popular with owners, and it seems that many owners still can't adapt to Yoke steering wheels.
