Microsoft Bing chat limit increased to 20 times per round, 200 times per day
Thanks to CTOnews.com netizens Alucard and hepatitis C for the clue delivery! CTOnews.com, March 26 (Xinhua) Microsoft Bing chat has once again raised the chat limit, and the chatbot can now chat 20 times per session and 200 times a day. Previously, the maximum number of chats per session was 15 and the maximum number of chats per day was 150.
CTOnews.com noted that the Bing chat preview was originally released without any restrictions on the number of chats per session or per day. But then something went wrong with the service, and long conversations sometimes confused Bing, leading to strange or rude answers.
Microsoft then imposed a limit on the number of chats. The initial limit was 5 conversations per session, 50 per day, and this limit gradually increased.
Microsoft has previously said it will continue to raise the limit on the number of Bing chats. It is expected that Microsoft will improve the service's ability to handle long conversations. Microsoft points out that the vast majority of conversations can be done in a relatively small number of times, but increased restrictions are always welcome.
Microsoft confirmed this week that the new version of Bing is powered by GPT-4, a new large language model (LLM) released by OpenAI on March 14, 2023, which is more powerful and capable than GPT-3.5.
