CTOnews.com, March 28 / PRNewswire-FirstCall-Asianet /-- Powkiddy, a company that mainly produces people-friendly game handsets, recently launched a "game stick" model Y6, with a two-handle set priced at $46.99 (CTOnews.com Note: currently about 324 yuan).

The "game stick" measures 100x 37 x 15mm (3.9x 1.5x 0.6in) with a HDMI port on one end and a USB-A port on the other, with a USB-C port and microSD card slot for power on the side.

Similar to Google's Chromecast and Amazon's Fire TV Stick, players can play a variety of classic retro games simply by plugging the Powkiddy Y6 into the TV.

The Y6 uses Amlogic S905X2 SoC (four ARM Cortex-A53 cores with 1.8 GHz and one Mali-G32 MP2 GPU), pre-installed with EmuELEC 4.3, and can run games such as Sony PS1, Nintendo NES, SNES and Sega.
