New Power Brand:

A total of 86 items were updated, which was not much different from that of the previous month. Among them, ideal and AITO have the most updates, ideal L-series models continue to usher in large version upgrades after an one-month hiatus, while AITO continues to cultivate the smart travel experience.

Independent brand:

A total of 151 items were updated, a substantial increase over the previous month. More independent brands have released large version upgrades this month, and there is no lack of brands with lower annual upgrade frequency, such as Harvard, Euler and so on.

Joint venture & luxury brand:

In this issue, only Tengli and Ford pushed OTA upgrades, of which Tengli updates the most, mainly focused on the intelligent cockpit, mainly car-machine UI interaction, screen control functions, voice control, and so on, while Ford pushed only a few remote control functions.

CTOnews.com learned from the report that because OTA upgrade involves automobile internal and external network connections and many ECU, it is vulnerable to network attacks that seriously endanger automobile safety, so OTA security has been paid great attention by relevant national institutions. Relevant norms and standards are issued in order to further strengthen the security and compliance of OTA, and put an end to hidden dangers such as hacker intrusion, remote control, data leakage and so on.
