CTOnews.com March 30 news, Anhui Provincial Communications Administration website issued a notice on the infringement of users' rights and interests of App (the second batch of 2023).

According to the laws and regulations such as the Network Security Law of the people's Republic of China and the personal Information Protection Law of the people's Republic of China, and in accordance with the relevant work arrangements of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the Anhui Provincial Communications Administration recently conducted a dialing test and inspection of App in the province. A total of 27 App were detected to have illegal collection and use of personal information, and a notice of correction was issued to the above-mentioned App enterprises on March 2, 2023. It is required that the rectification and reform work be completed within a deadline.

So far, there are still 19 App models that have not been rectified. Anhui Administration requires relevant App enterprises to implement rectification and reform before April 10, and if they fail to do so within the time limit, they will organize and carry out relevant disposal work.
