According to BYD officials, there is no need for the network, even when the iPhone or Apple Watch can still unlock, lock and start the vehicle in the case of weak power (within 5 hours). In the case that the vehicle supports NFC digital key function, iPhone XS and newer models, and the system is iOS 15.0and later system version, supports the opening of iPhone NFC digital key; Apple Watch Series 5 and newer model, and the system meets watchOS 8 and later system version, supports the opening of NFC digital key.
