CTOnews.com reported on April 1 that Phantom V Fold, the first folding screen product of Tecno, was officially released during MWC 2023. However, the new machine did not go on sale immediately after its release.

According to 91mobiles, Tecno Phantom V Fold will be the first to go on sale in India on April 11.

The phone is available in 12GB+256GB and 12GB+512GB versions and sells for 89999 Indian rupees (CTOnews.com Note: currently about 7533 yuan) and 99999 Indian rupees (CTOnews.com Note: currently about 8370 yuan), with a limited discount for the first sale period, starting at 77777 Indian rupees (CTOnews.com Note: currently about 6510 yuan).

In terms of configuration, the Tecno Phantom V Fold is equipped with a 6.42in 120Hz LTPO AMOLED secondary display with a resolution of 1080x2550 pixels. The interior is a larger 7.85in 2000x2296 resolution folding screen with a 120Hz LTPO panel.

There are three cameras behind the Tecno Phantom V Fold, including the 50MP main camera, 50MP's 2x zoom camera and 13MP ultra-wide-angle camera. Equipped with 32MP's sub-screen selfie camera, the inner screen is 16MP selfie camera.

Tecno Phantom V Fold uses Tianji 9000+ chip, based on TSMC 4nm process. Equipped with 5000mAh battery and 45W wired charging (wireless charging is not supported). Tecno says Phantom V Fold can charge 40% in 15 minutes and be fully charged in 55 minutes.
