Tesla will recall part of Semi produced in 2023 and replace defective parts free of charge, according to a message posted on the website of the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration late last month that Tesla will recall parts of Semi produced in 2023 due to defects in the parking brake valve module that may not operate as expected, increasing the risk of collisions.

According to information disclosed by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, there are 35 Semi potentially affected by defects in parking brake valve modules, all of which are produced this year, which means that Tesla's electric truck deliveries have been delivered at least 35 this year, even higher, including those delivered in December last year.

Because the electric truck Semi delivery time is not long, the delivery volume is still not small compared with Tesla's other four passenger cars, so in their first quarter production and delivery volume announced Sunday local time, Semi production and delivery volume data are not given.

It is worth noting that although Tesla will recall 35 defective electric trucks Semi, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has not received complaints about defects. This is Tesla's voluntary recall.
