Now the tablet device (model GTU8P) has appeared in FCC and UL Solutions databases to reveal more details. Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and UWB functions are mentioned in FCC certification. So far, UWB has been used relatively little on Google's Pixel series, mainly by allowing phones to be used as digital car keys, a task that bulky tablets may not be able to do well. Google may be preparing Pixel tablets to work with click-to-transfer systems on Android, such as streaming and playing music.

On the other hand, UL Solutions mentioned that tablets support 18W charging and hinted that there would be docking stations. The docking station requires a 30W charger, but it is not clear whether it will transfer more than 18W of power to the tablet.

In line with previous speculation, the tablet supports a new dock and can also double as speakers, essentially turning the Pixel Tablet into a smart display.

Google is expected to unveil a new Pixel tablet at the Google I / O developer conference in May.
