Photo Source: according to a 55-page report recently released by market research firm The Symbiotic Future of Theatrical & Streaming, WikiMedia conducted a questionnaire survey of 2000 American consumers aged 15 to 69 from January 3 to 11 this year.
CTOnews.com learned from the report that 2/3 of US respondents said that the amount of time a cinema movie has been on the streaming platform has little or no impact on their decision to go to the cinema or not.
Of the 24 films recently watched, only eight were original films on the streaming platform, with the most watched being "Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery".
The survey asked respondents to name the movies they recently watched on the streaming platform, and only 1/4 of users correctly named one. The remaining 75% of respondents said they could not remember which movie on the streaming platform they had recently watched, or answered that the title of the movie was cinema.
