It is reported that the relationship between Microsoft and Square Enix is at odds, resulting in the absence of the "final Fantasy" new game on the Xbox platform.

CTOnews.com, April 7 (Xinhua)-- according to foreign technology media Windows Central, the relationship between Microsoft and game studio Square Enix is in trouble, resulting in the latest game "final Fantasy Pixel reproduction" will not be available on the Xbox platform.

Image source: Square Enix Jez Corden, editor-in-chief of this media, said in the article that there is a "fundamentally wrong" (fundamental error) in the relationship between Microsoft and Square Enix, which is completely incompatible in concept. In his follow-up tweets, he hinted that a bigger reason for the unsmooth cooperation between the two sides lies in Xbox.

Final Fantasy Pixel Reproduction will be launched on PS4 and Switch at 8:00 Pacific time on April 19 (11:00 Beijing time), CTOnews.com reported yesterday.
