BYD is considering building a new car battery super factory in Spain

Spain is one of the top five automobile markets in Europe, and it is also an important stop in the international strategic map of BYD passenger cars. Since 2016, BYD has launched a pure electric bus business in the Spanish market, with footprints in major Spanish cities, including Madrid, Barcelona, Valencia and so on.

According to previous reports from CTOnews.com, BYD passenger cars have officially entered the Spanish market, launching three pure electric models, Han, Tang and BYD ATTO, at the same time.

BYD sold a total of 13312 new energy passenger vehicles overseas in March 2023, and the total installed capacity of power batteries and energy storage batteries of new energy vehicles in March was about 9.891 GWhGrady and the total installed capacity in 2023 was about 26.991GWh.
