Capcom released a game patch to formally remove the "biochemical Evil 8: village" D encryption technology.

CTOnews.com April 10 news, "biochemical Evil 8: village" was released in May 2021, was cracked in July, and the use of the famous Denuvo tamper-proof technology, the overall performance of genuine players will be affected, so some players protested.

Nearly two years after the release of this work, Capcom released a new patch and officially deleted the D encryption program. At the same time, the game's Steam store page also removed the description of D encryption.

SteamDB shows: "the third-party DRM-Denuvo tamper-proof program has been removed, and the machine activation limit is 5 different PC per day."

In addition to "biochemical Evil 8: village", Capcom has previously removed D encryption from some games that have been sold, such as "biochemical Evil 2: remake", "biochemical Evil 3: remake", "Ghost crying 5", "Monster Hunter: the World" and other games.

This should be good news for players who want to play the game but resist because of D encryption. Digital Foundry had previously compared the cracked version on the same PC and found that "the official version had a terrible delay and frame rate to crash, and the cracked version had a huge experience upgrade."
