MINI will launch "English Bulldog" digital puppy darling Spike, which will be unveiled at Shanghai Auto Show on April 18.
CTOnews.com, April 12, MINI Automobile will launch a digital pet Spike, a car digital assistant with the image of a puppy, at the Shanghai Auto Show on April 18.
CTOnews.com found that Spike, which had previously been released overseas, was an assistant scheme featuring British Bulldog cartoon characters. Its exact function has not been made public yet, but officials say it will help car owners understand the "operating philosophy" of the car and strive to have an "emotional connection" with you.
Given the relatively cute look of the MINI car, and the customers it aims at, it is indeed a good design to have a puppy on the car, and the image is even somewhat similar to that of the MINI car.
"MINI is always synonymous with emotional experience, which is why we have brought the unique digital darling of Spike to the future model of MINI," said Oliver Heilmer, design director of MINI. "TA is not only our attempt in design, but also an integral part of the user experience."
