CTOnews.com, April 13 (Xinhua) the traditional view is that contemporary young people can't do without smartphones and other electronic products, but according to a follow-up survey released by CIRP today, this is not the case for iPhone users in the United States.

The CIRP survey shows that young people in the United States are less dependent on iPhone smartphones than expected. The survey report was divided into six groups according to the age of the testers and asked them how long they would carry out repairs after they encountered an iPhone failure.

CTOnews.com learned from the report that, contrary to expectations, only 27 per cent of 18-24-year-olds chose "now-day" and 32 per cent chose "within 1-2 days".

Other age groups are significantly higher than this figure, such as 59% of people aged 45-54 who choose "now-day" and 30% of those who choose "within 1-2 days".

Among those over the age of 65, 45% chose "now-day" and 47% chose "within 1-2 days".
