CTOnews.com, April 14, according to TechPowerUp, AMD today released new developments for its open software platform ROCm, ROCm is about to launch the Windows operating system, and AMD has extended ROCm support to consumer graphics cards, not just professional GPU.

According to the official website of AMD, AMD has brought ROCm support for Radeon RX 6900 XT, Radeon RX 6600 and R9 Fury GPU. Interestingly, of the three GPU, only R9 Fury has full ROCm support, RX 6900 XT has HIP SDK support, and RX 6600 only has HIP runtime support. And R9 Fury GPU has full ROCm support only on Linux, not Windows. The reason for this strange support remains to be discovered.
