CTOnews.com April 14, Forbes released the 2023 AI 50 list of the 50 most promising unlisted companies that use AI to do business. The companies on the list received a total of $27.2 billion in financing. AlphaSense and Vectra AI have been operating for more than a decade, and Databricks, the largest company on the list, has more than 5000 employees.

CTOnews.com learned from the version that Abnormal Security is a San Francisco-based email security unicorn. It uses machine learning and artificial intelligence to detect potential cyber attacks based on e-mail systems.

Adept, in second place, is developing a digital assistant whose artificial intelligence model aims to convert a text command into an action executed by a computer. The company's founder, David Luan, was vice president of engineering at OpenAI. Adept announced a total of $415 million in financing with the support of strategic investors Microsoft and Nvidia.

Runway, a company that specializes in image and video editing, made its debut on the list, and Runway's tools were used to build visual effects for some of the scenes in the film "the Universe in an instant," which won seven Oscars, including best picture.
