CTOnews.com reported on April 14 that at the 5859th China higher Education Expo, five universities, including Chongqing University, Southwest University, Chongqing normal University, Chongqing University of posts and Telecommunications, and Chongqing Vocational College of Electronic Engineering, signed a cooperation framework agreement with Aliyun, which will be based on the Chongqing artificial intelligence and industrial digital innovation research platform. We will carry out in-depth cooperation in the fields of scientific and technological innovation, academic cooperation, personnel training, and digital transformation of colleges and universities.

The Chongqing Municipal Education Commission recently reached a cooperation with Aliyun to promote the construction of an innovative research platform, provide local universities and scientific research institutions with services of computing power, algorithms and general tools, and comprehensively promote data fusion and the transformation of scientific and technological achievements. Chongqing University and other five universities will rely on the computing resources of the platform to promote the development of scientific research tasks, the training of high-level talents, and the digital construction of colleges and universities.

CTOnews.com learned from officials that Aliyun launched the Flying Intelligence platform in August 2022, supporting "one cloud and multiple cores", providing large-scale converged computing power, and launching two super computing centers in Zhangbei and Wulanchabu. At present, it has served a number of industry, university and government institutions, such as Deep potential Technology, SAIC Group, Geely Group, China Meteorological Administration, Southern Power Grid, Peking University, Fudan University and so on.
