CTOnews.com learned from Continental's official Wechat account that the driver identification display screen launched by Continental Group this time integrates a camera solution for driver biometrics. This driver identification display enables highly secure contactless authentication and successfully starts the vehicle only after the driver in the seat has been successfully verified, helping to prevent fraud and theft attempts. It is the world's first on-board display screen with this feature.

It is worth mentioning that the driver identification display can also be used for payment or digital service access in app stores, thereby reducing security accidents caused by distracted payments.
