The No. 1 building of the center is designed in accordance with the data center design code "A" standard. When completed, it will become the first data center in Shandong Province to meet the highest international standards, and will serve as one of the core nodes of the data center of Unicom Group, carrying group-level big data resources.

CTOnews.com learned from the official that China Unicom (Qingdao) Intelligence Center adopts a mature and reliable chilled water system scheme in terms of green and low carbon. Cooling towers, chilled pumps and other equipment are designed with frequency conversion, and rely on power and environmental monitoring system, refrigeration system group control system, power monitoring system, DCIM integrated management platform to monitor the operating status and working parameters of each system equipment in real time.

It can show the use of energy and resources of each system and major equipment, provide intelligent analysis function, optimize and give maintenance strategy to ensure low energy consumption and high performance operation of the data center, and the operating energy use efficiency (PUE) is far lower than the national average level of 1.5. it not only meets the development goal of "green energy saving" of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, but also meets the energy efficiency requirements of Shandong Province for the newly built large-scale data center.
