CTOnews.com, April 18 (Xinhua)-- earlier this month, Halo: unlimited Creative Director Joseph Staten announced his departure from Microsoft. Less than half a month later, he announced that he had joined Netflix and would produce a new multi-platform 3A game masterpiece.

Joseph Staten said in his tweet that he is pleased to announce that he has joined Netflix as the creative director of the new AAA multi-platform games and original IP.

However, Joseph Staten did not provide other details about the game being developed by Netflix, and previous information from CTOnews.com showed that Netflix had been recruiting third-person role-playing game developers over the past few months.

Netflix recently said it would launch 40 mobile games in 2023 and would not charge Netflix subscribers an extra fee. The company also said it had 16 games at different stages of development in several of its internal development studios.
