CTOnews.com April 18 news, foreign science and technology media Phoronix recently released an article to evaluate AMD's latest Ryzen 7 7800X3D processor and found that its performance on Ubuntu Linux 23.04 is on average 7% higher than that of Win11.

Phoronix tested 80 application suites, of which 72.5% showed that the Linux platform outperformed the Win11 platform.

These tests include OpenJDK Java, Image encoding, chess benchmarks, LuxCore, Video Encoding, Intel oneAPI, ASTC encoding, blender, Indigo Renderer, Appleseed, V-Ray, Geekbench and Google Chrome browser scores.

Blender 3.5 with 21% performance improvement

BMW27 benchmark test of Blender 3.5 with 22% performance improvement

Barbershop benchmark test of Blender 3.5 with 17.3% performance improvement

Selenium PSPDFKit WASM benchmark test, 30% higher performance
