China ranked second with 316, an increase of 50% from before the epidemic, and India remained in third place with 68 unicorns.

Byte Jump is still the world's most valuable unicorn with a value of 1.38 trillion yuan; Musk's SpaceX ranks second with a value of 945 billion yuan, up 260 billion yuan from a year ago; ant group dropped one place to third with a value of 830 billion yuan; and ChatGPT OpenAI is one of the best performing unicorns in the world over the past year, with a sevenfold increase in value to 138 billion yuan, rising from 272nd to 17th in the world.

In terms of the number of unicorns, the financial technology industry is growing the fastest, with 32 more than a year ago, 27 more corporate services, 23 blockchains and 23 more logistics. Overall, fintech leads with 171 unicorns, followed by 136 software services and 120 e-commerce. Then there are 105 artificial intelligence, 92 health science and technology, 62 network security and 53 blockchain.
