Combined with the "notice on further strict Management to effectively prevent minors from indulging in online Games" and the actual holiday adjustment arrangements, around the May 1 International Labour Day holiday in 2023, Tencent Games's online games operated in Chinese mainland area are restricted for minors as follows.
Minors are restricted to play:
April 21-22 (Friday, Saturday)
April 28 (Friday)
April 29-May 3 (May 1 International Labour Day Holiday)
Friday, May 5
Sunday, May 7
Between 20:00 and 21:00 every day, minors can log in to the game.
The rest of the working days, as well as April 23 (Sunday) and May 6 (Saturday), are prohibited play periods.
CTOnews.com Note: the State Press and publication Administration issued a notice in August 2021, strictly restricting the time for providing online game services to minors. All online game enterprises can only provide one-hour service to minors from 20:00 to 21:00 every day on Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays and official holidays, and are not allowed to provide online game services to minors in any other time.
