Aquiris is the developer of the games Horizon Chase (chasing the Horizon) and Wonderbox. After joining Epic Games, the studio will participate in the development of the Epic ace game Fortnite.

Mauricio Longoni, CEO of Aquiris, said: "joining Epic Games is based on our success in creating unforgettable games, including Wonderbox, Horizon Chase 2 and Looney Tunes World of Mayhem, which we will continue to operate." After the company was acquired, Mauricio Longoni is now the studio director of Epic Games Brasil.

According to CTOnews.com, the last time Epic acquired a game studio was in November 2021 when it acquired Harmonix, the developer of "Rock Band" and "Dance Central".
