CTOnews.com April 21, Microsoft released a cumulative KB5025221 update for Win10 during the Patch Tuesday event on April 11. According to user feedback, the printer failed after the update was installed.

Win10 users reported that after the KB5025221 update was installed, the device could not use the document scanning function on the printer, and several printers, including Brother's DCP-L2540DW, were affected.

Users also reported that after installing the update, the device could not send a print job to Brother's HL-L3210CW printer, causing the printer to stop working.

In addition to the printer failure, some users also reported that after installing the update, every time the Chrome browser was enabled, the default application settings menu would be opened.
