The new Guinan high-speed railway is located in the southeast of Guizhou Province and the northwest of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous region, starting from Guiyang in the north and passing through Longli, Guiding County, Duyun, Dushan, Libo and Huanjiang, Jinchengjiang, du'an, Mashan County and Wuming in Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous region to the south, ending in Nanning. The main line of Guinan high-speed railway is 482 kilometers long, including 200 kilometers in Guizhou and 282 kilometers in Guangxi.

The whole line of Guinan high-speed railway consists of 12 stations, including Longli North Station, Guiding County Station, Duyun East Station, Dushan Station, Libo Station, Huanjiang Station, Hechi West Station, Yongan Town Station, du'an Station, Mashan County Station, Nanning North Station and Nanning East Station.

The Guizhou section of the Guinan high-speed railway in the joint test is about 175 kilometers. Construction of the section began in January 2018, and the laying of the main line was completed on March 10, 2023. It entered static acceptance from February 15, and entered the joint trial phase on April 22, 2023.

After the completion and opening of the Guinan high-speed railway, it has formed a convenient and fast channel for passenger exchanges between Sichuan, Chongqing, Guizhou and northwest regions and Nanning, Beibu Gulf, western Guangdong, Hainan and ASEAN countries.
