Thanks to CTOnews.com netizens Wu Yanzu in South China for the delivery of clues! CTOnews.com, April 24 (Xinhua)-- CTL manufacturers are accepting orders for two models of Chromebox CBX3 to locate mini desktops that support WiFi 6e, Bluetooth 5.3 and multiple I / O ports, all pre-installed to run Google ChromeOS.

The entry-level CTL Chromebox CBX3 is equipped with a 5-core, 6-threaded Intel Cy 7305 processor based on the 12th generation Intel Alder Lake architecture; the Chromebox CBX3-7 is the first ChromeOS device to announce the adoption of the 13th generation Intel Core i7 processor (i7-1355U) based on the Raptor Lake architecture, and the price is higher.

Both computers are 5.85in (approx. 148.59 mm) x 5.83in (approx. 148.08 mm) x 1.62in (approx. 41.15mm) and have a set of ports, including:

2 x HDMI 2.0

1 USB Type-C (with DisplayPort alternate mode)

4 x USB 3.0 Type-A

1 RJ45 Ethernet

1 x 3.5 mm audio

1 microSD card slot

Both computers will receive automatic software updates from Google at least until June 2030.

The pre-price of the entry-level CTL Chromebox CBX3 model is $309 (CTOnews.com Note: currently about 2132 yuan), while the pre-price of Intel Core i7 version is $849 (currently about 5858 yuan).

In addition to processor differences, the entry-level model is equipped with 4GB memory and 256GB PCIe NVMe storage, while the more expensive i7 model will be equipped with 8GB memory and 256GB storage and will be shipped this summer.

Chromebox's Cy Young and Core i7 versions also have two SODIMM slots, so both allow users to upgrade DDR4-3200 memory and NVMe SSD storage, CTL said.
