Intel Meteor Lake-S Desktop processor Information exposed: maximum Core i5 65W

CTOnews.com April 25 news, according to the Intel desktop CPU presentation shared by netizen @ SquashBionic, revealed the information of Meteor Lake-S and Arrow Lake-S chips suitable for 800 series platforms.

Both Meteor Lake-S and Arrow Lake-S chips use LGA 1851 slots and their package dimensions are 45x37.5 mm. Its size is compatible with the existing LGA 1700 socket and is compatible with the existing radiator.

For each series of CPU configurations, the Intel Meteor Lake-S desktop CPU will use the Core i5 SKU with 65W TDP and 3-4 VR phases (VCC_Core / VR Rail). The Intel Arrow Lake-S CPU can reach up to Core i9 SKU with 125W TDP and 6-7 VR Phases.
