Leica launches a new ZM Monochrom version of the watch, paying tribute to black-and-white photography

According to CTOnews.com, April 27, Leica today released a new ZM Monochrom version of the watch. Officials say it is inspired by the Leica M11 Monochrom camera, which removes all color elements, retains only the "red dot" design, and pays homage to the essence of black-and-white photography with minimalist aesthetics.

The Leica ZM Monochrom version, which includes two Leica ZM 1 Monochrom and Leica ZM 2 Monochrom models, will go on sale in mid-May. The price of the Bank of China has not yet been announced.

According to reports, the Monochrome Edition watch strap has the same texture as the M11 Monochrom camera and is made of thick black calfskin and sewn by hand. The "ZM" in the name of the watch series stands for "Zeitmesser", which is a German descriptive word for instruments that measure and display time. The watch uses a manual winding mechanical movement developed and produced internally by Leica.

In terms of price, the suggested retail price of ZM 1 Monochrom starts at 11550 euros (CTOnews.com Note: currently about 88000 yuan), and the suggested retail price of ZM 2 Monochrom is 15450 euros (currently about 118000 yuan).
