SAIC Group Financial report: total revenue of 744.063 billion yuan in 2022 and sales of 891000 vehicles in the first quarter of 2023

On April 28, CTOnews.com, Shanghai Automobile Group Co., Ltd. (600104) released its annual report for 2022 and the first quarter report for 2023. In 2022, the total operating income was 744.063 billion yuan, and the net profit attributed to the shareholders of the listed company was 16.118 billion yuan. SAIC sold 891000 vehicles in the first quarter, with a total operating income of 145.916 billion yuan and a net profit of 2.783 billion yuan belonging to shareholders of listed companies.

SAIC plans to distribute cash dividends of 3.37 yuan for every 10 shares, totaling 3.874 billion yuan. The total cash dividend in 2022 accounts for more than 30% of the mother's net profit (including buybacks). In the past three years, SAIC's cumulative cash dividends reached 22.645 billion yuan (including buybacks).

SAIC sold 2.785 million vehicles under its own brand in 2022, accounting for 52.5 per cent of the total sales. SAIC sold 839000 passenger cars and 1.073 million new energy vehicles, up 46.5 per cent from the same period last year. SAIC sold 1.017 million vehicles in overseas markets, up 45.9 per cent from a year earlier.
