CTOnews.com April 30 news, according to LeicaRumors, Leica Q3 will be released in the last week of May. The camera will feature a flip screen, video up to or above 4K, improved focus, and a new battery, or will support wireless charging with a finish similar to the M11 Monochrom.

The Leica Q3 (Wilson) is expected to be announced in the next 2-3 weeks, will use the same sensors and image processor as the Leica M11, the body design is basically the same as the Leica Q2, and is equipped with the same lens and image stabilization function as the Q2.

It is said to be the first Q-series model with a dynamic display, video capabilities that could exceed 4k but not 8k, and a new battery and contactless charging system are expected.

Of course, this model is also relatively more expensive than the current Q2, which costs $5795 (CTOnews.com notes: currently about 40275 yuan).

Some time ago, it was also reported that the Leica M11 black and white version will be released in the summer of 2023, while the Leica SL3 will be released in late 2023 or 2024.

For reference, Leica Q2 is a full-frame portable digital camera equipped with a 47.3 megapixel sensor and supports 4K video recording, released in 2019; Leica M11 is a side-axis digital camera that can take photos of up to 60 megapixels and supports output of 14bit RAW format; Leica SL2 is a full-frame micro-camera equipped with a 47.3 megapixel sensor, L-mount, and five-axis anti-shake support.
