Midea 2022 Annual report: total operating income 345.7 billion yuan, net profit 29.6 billion yuan

CTOnews.com April 30 news, Midea released the 2022 annual report, the company's total revenue of 345.7 billion yuan, an increase of 0.68% over the same period last year, realizing a net profit of 29.6 billion yuan belonging to the parent company, an increase of 3.43% over the same period last year. Of this total, revenue from the HVAC business was 150.6 billion yuan, up 6.17% from the same period last year, accounting for 43.8% of the total revenue; revenue from the consumer electrical appliance business was 125.3 billion yuan, down 4.99% from the same period last year, accounting for 36.43% of the total revenue; and the robot business was 29.9 billion yuan, up 9.70% from the same period last year.

The income of the industrial technology enterprise group, the building science and technology department, and the robot and automation department increased by 7%, 22.8 billion yuan and 27.7 billion yuan respectively in the reporting period.

CTOnews.com obtained from the annual report that the net cash flow generated by Midea's investment activities decreased by 199.34% compared with the same period last year, mainly due to the decrease in cash received from the recovery of investment, while the net cash flow from fund-raising activities increased by 65.21% over the same period last year, mainly due to the increase in cash received from loans. The net increase in cash and cash equivalents decreased by 37.76% compared with the same period last year, mainly due to the decrease in net cash flow from investment activities.

Midea's overseas sales income was 142.645 billion yuan, accounting for 41.48% of the total revenue, an increase of 3.63% over the same period last year. In 2022, there were more than 3000 new cooperative customers, and the sales revenue of overseas e-commerce increased by 14% compared with the same period last year.
