The core local business income was 160.8 billion yuan, and the operating profit was 29.5 billion yuan, an increase of 56.8% over the same period last year, including 70.064 billion yuan from placing services, 55.143 billion yuan from commission, 30.683 billion yuan from online marketing services, and 4.869 billion yuan from other services.

CTOnews.com obtained from the financial report that Meituan's new business income was 59.2 billion yuan, an increase of 39.3% over the same period last year, of which commission income was 1.367 billion yuan, and other services and sales (including interest income) were 57.744 billion yuan. The operating loss of the new business narrowed to 28.4 billion yuan, with an operating loss rate of 47.9%. The adjusted EBITDA was 9.725 billion yuan, the adjusted net profit was 2.827 billion yuan, and the adjusted net profit margin was 1.3%.

In 2022, the annual trading users and annual active merchants of Meituan flash purchases both increased by nearly 30% compared with the same period last year. The peak of one-day orders in December exceeded 11 million. In 2023, Meituan will continue to implement the strategy of "retail + technology" and continue to expand product coverage from catering to non-catering products, including fresh food, daily necessities and medicines.
