CTOnews.com May 1 news, Geely Automobile Holdings Co., Ltd. released a 2022 ESG report, pure electric vehicle sales rose 328% to 262253, new energy sales increased by 300% compared with the same period last year. Bicycle life cycle carbon emissions are 35.2 tCO emissions, achieving a total life cycle carbon emissions reduction of 8% compared with the base year of 2020. Geely promises to reduce cycle carbon emissions by more than 25% by 2025 and to be carbon neutral by 2045.

CTOnews.com learned from the report that Geely's own packaging has achieved 100% recycled packaging. In 2022, 12103 tons of disposable packaging materials were used for the whole vehicle, equivalent to 6.81kg per vehicle; 73.80% of auto parts were covered by recycled packaging, 82.71% of suppliers used recyclable packaging materials, and 100% of the remaining disposable packaging was recycled. 100% recovery and utilization of all packaging materials in each base.

Geely has 3150 talents of the new four modernizations, accounting for 33% of the power system and 32% of the vehicle R & D system. Women accounted for 19 per cent of the group's employees, up 3 per cent from the end of 2021; women accounted for 21 per cent of newly hired employees, up 5 per cent from the end of 2021; and women accounted for 10 per cent of senior staff, up 2 per cent from the end of 2021. It is planned that by 2025, the proportion of women (vice minister and above) in Geely's management will be more than 20%, and 13% in 2022.
