It is said that the company's Ryzen 7040 series "Phoenix" series of mobile processors use 4nm technology and are currently using Samsung's 4nm node design (AMD has five options).

Generally speaking, a shift to Samsung may bring more scalability to AMD, especially considering that "Phoenix" has been delayed many times. At present, only 5nm + 6nm's Ryzen 7045 series "Dragon Range" is left in the high-end market, while only 6nm's 7035 series "Rembrandt-R" is left in the mainstream and ultra-portable market, but there are no products "suitable" to compete with "Raptor Lake-U" and "Raptor Lake-P".
