CTOnews.com, May 2 (Xinhua)-- Samsung has brought astrophotography support to the old flagship devices Galaxy S21, S21 + and S21 Ultra. This feature is already available on the Galaxy S22 and Galaxy S23 series and allows users to take pictures of the night sky.

This time, users can enable astrophotography mode through the latest version of the Expert RAW app (2.0.08.5 CTOnews.com with download address). The Galaxy S21 series phones must be updated in April 2023 to support this feature. Expert RAW also provides detailed photography control to adjust various properties, such as ISO, shutter speed, aperture, white balance, etc., allowing users to save images in both JPEG and RAW formats.

Expert RAW's astrophotography mode relies on long exposures to capture high-quality images of stars, planets and constellations visible in the night sky; it also has built-in tools to help users point to various constellations in the sky, allowing users to set timers up to 10 minutes, and it is recommended that the device be mounted on a tripod to take stable images.

Samsung has previously re-launched Galaxy Enhance-X;, an artificial intelligence image editing app for S23 phones, and has partnered with Microsoft Xbox to launch free dedicated game areas in London and New York City.
