CTOnews.com May 3, Motorola launched the latest Moto G 5G (2023) mobile phone on May 2, which supports sub-6GHz 5G network and carries Snapdragon 480 + chip. for comparison, Moto G 5G (2020) uses Snapdragon 750G chip and Moto G 5G (2022) uses MediaTek Tianji 700 chip. Snapdragon 480 + is not so outstanding in terms of performance improvement.

The Moto G 5G (2023) model will go on sale on May 25 at a price of $250 (CTOnews.com Note: currently about 1733 yuan). By contrast, the Moto G 5G (2022) model has a suggested retail price of $400 (currently about 2772 yuan).

In terms of configuration, the Moto G 5G (2023) is equipped with Snapdragon 480+ chip, 4 GB memory + 128GB storage, supports up to 1 TB extended microSD slot, and is pre-installed to run Android 13.

The Moto G 5G (2023) has a 6.5inch LCD screen with a resolution of 1600 x 720 (20:9), and the refresh rate increases from 90Hz to 120Hz.

The Moto G 5G (2023) is waterproof, 8.4mm thick and weighs 189g, with 3.5mm headphone Jack at the bottom, near the USB-C port, support for 15W charging, built-in 5000mAh battery, data transmission (USB 2.0), and stereo speakers for Dolby panoramic sound (Dolby Atmos).

The Moto G 5G (2023) rear 48MP camera (f / 1.7m original pixels, combined 1.6 μ m, support 1080p@30fps video recording), 2MP depth and 2MP macro camera; front 8MP selfie camera (f / 2.0m, 1.12mu, support 1080p@30fps video recording).

The Moto G 5G (2023) supports facial unlocking or fingerprint recognition.
