Asus ROG Ally game handset rendering and price exposure: 799 euros, AMD Ryzen Z1 Extreme chip + 16 GB memory

CTOnews.com May 4 news, Asustek ROG Ally will be the new game handheld device, WinFuture obtained information from a retailer that the ROG Ally (RC71L model) with AMD Ryzen Z1 Extreme chip will sell for 799 euros in Europe (CTOnews.com Note: currently about 6072 yuan), equipped with 16 GB memory and 512 GB storage, will be available in mid-June. For reference, the same device is expected to sell for $700 in the United States (currently about 4844 yuan).

The new report also shares some rendered images of the ROG Ally handset.

Asustek announced the ROG Ally handset in April this year, which will be officially released on May 11.

According to previous certification information, the AMD Ruilong Z1 Extreme chip will be a customized version of AMD R7 7840U with Radeon 780m GPU. AMD officially claims that the chip has eight Zen 4 cores with a total of 16 threads, as well as 12 RDNA 3 cores and 24MB cache, which is nominal to deliver 8.6 TFLOPS of raw graphics performance, close to the Sony PS5 of 10.28 TFLOPS and well ahead of Steam Deck's 1.6 TFLOPS.

The revelation shows that the Asustek handset runs Windows 11 system, which can support Steam, Epic, Xbox stores and other platforms, with a 7-inch 1920 "1080 resolution 120Hz screen, 500N brightness and 7ms delay; weight 608g, equipped with double fan heat dissipation, and 16 GB LPDDR5 memory + 512 GB PCIe 4.0SSD, can be extended storage through the MicroSD card to support Dolby panoramic sound.
