Price reduction of single 48GB DDR5 non-binary memory for pirate ships: 2599 yuan for 96GB set
CTOnews.com May 5 news, the pirate ship was the first to launch the first single 48GB DDR5 non-binary memory in February this year, when the initial price tag was 48G*2 3799 yuan.
Now, the price of this series of memory has fallen sharply:
The Avengers DDR5-5600 48G*2 sells for 2599 yuan.
The Avengers DDR5-5600 RGB 48G*2 sells for 2699 yuan.
As previously reported by CTOnews.com, non-binary memory uses 24Gb DRAM chips rather than current standard 16Gb modules. If 20 24Gb DRAM chips are installed on DIMM, the available memory of 48GB can be obtained after considering the capacity of ECC and metadata.
For some motherboards with only two memory slots, the 48GB*2 has more 32GB capacity than the original maximum 32GB*2. At present, Intel and AMD's latest motherboard platforms already support single strips of memory with 24GB and 48GB capacity.
