The champion version of BYD Seal will be available on May 10 with a stronger configuration.

Thank CTOnews.com netizens soft media Xinyou 1957189 for the clue delivery! CTOnews.com May 8, BYD Seal Champion will be launched on May 10. It is reported that the new car will optimize the seal's design, configuration details and configuration gradient according to market feedback and user demand.

In March this year, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology issued the 369th batch of "Road Motor vehicle Manufacturing Enterprises and Product Bulletin" new product announcement, including a model suspected to be the champion version of the seal. The dynamic performance of the permanent magnet synchronous motor with the maximum power 170kW is between the existing 550km standard afterdrive version and the 700km long-range afterdrive version. This model has a good balance in terms of price, configuration, battery life, efficiency and performance.

Referring to some of the practices of BYD's previous champion models, the seal champion may change in color matching and interior materials, such as dark-tone interiors that the market expects. In terms of smart configuration, with reference to BYD's recent new car model, the seal champion version of the NFC car key may support both Android and iOS systems. In addition, the light-sensitive canopy, which was previously used as an option, may become the standard configuration of the seal champion 650km all-wheel drive performance version, and the "super iTAC intelligent torque control system" may also appear in the new car.

BYD sold 210295 vehicles in April, of which 209467 passenger cars were sold, up 98.6 per cent from a year earlier. CTOnews.com noted that seal sales were 6212, a significant drop from a peak of more than 15000, and it remains to be seen whether the championship version will increase its competitiveness.
