CTOnews.com May 8 news, if nothing happens, Apple will officially release the iOS 17 operating system at the WWDC23 conference on June 10 this year. According to the latest revelations, iOS 17 will redesign the lock screen map navigation.

Below it also displays the number of unread notifications, flashlights, and shortcuts to camera applications. Users can swipe on the lock screen interface, expand the notification center, and view all notifications. The user can also zoom out the map to the size of the music player widget on the lock screen interface and expand it again with a click. This full-screen display mode is very different from Apple's current implementation.

The map displayed on the lock screen interface is not interactive, but will be updated in real time according to the user's current location and navigation direction. However, the new feature seems to apply only to Apple Maps, not to Google Maps and other third-party navigation apps.
