CTOnews.com May 9 news, source Evan Blass (@ Evleaks) shared a picture with "Pixel Watch 2" on its latest tweet.

9to5Google, a foreign technology media, later quoted the tweet, saying that after Google's upcoming smartwatch went on sale, it was called Pixel Watch 2.

The report believes that adding numbers after the product name is the same as the Pixel series of mobile phones. In addition, the media also speculated that Google would adopt the naming style of Nest Hub or Nest Mini, which would be marked as "2nd gen" later.

CTOnews.com has previously reported that Google will launch Pixel Watch 2 smartwatches later this year, along with Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro phones.

Pixel Watch 2 may be equipped with Qualcomm Snapdragon W5 + Gen 1 chip based on 4nm technology, with stronger performance and longer battery life.

The Pixel Watch 2 watch will also be equipped with a new Wear OS system, bringing more changes to the Material You design language and introducing Dynamic Color features.
