Registry option returns, Microsoft updates in May so that the Win11 system tray can be displayed in seconds

CTOnews.com May 11 news, according to foreign science and technology media Windows Latest reported that after the installation of the KB5026372 update in May, the Win11 system finally returned to the "ShowSecondsInSystemClock" option in the registry, allowing the system tray to display seconds.

It is reported that Microsoft has removed the ShowSecondsInSystemClock option from the system registry since the Win11 Version 21H2 update. Microsoft believes that the number of seconds of real-time display will increase the load on the processor, lead to power and battery backup problems, and affect the performance of the device.
