Model Y competitive products, Tesla rival Fisker delivered the world's first Ocean pure electric SUV

CTOnews.com May 11, 2011-The first Fisker Ocean has rolled off the production line in just a few weeks since the new Fisker line was announced in March. According to Fisker's official website, company co-founder Henrik Fisker recently delivered the first Fisker Ocean to an owner in Copenhagen, Denmark, starting at $70,500 (CTOnews.com Note: Currently about 489,000 yuan).

Fisker produced only a small number of Ocean pure electric SUVs in the fourth quarter of 2022, but it plans to significantly increase production in 2023, with full-year production expected to reach 42,000 units. Fisker has received more than 65,000 Ocean orders so far. It is reported that Fisker Ocean is the brand's first all-electric SUV, launched at the Los Angeles Auto Show in November 2021, competitors include Tesla Model Y and Ford Mach-E. Fisker Ocean's WLTP range is about 440 miles (708.11 km).

Compared to competitors such as Tesla, Fisker did not build its own charging network like Tesla, but partnered with a number of companies, including Deftpower in the European Union and ChargePoint in the United States to provide charging solutions for customers. This strategy helped Fisker get rid of huge asset-heavy investments without having to go through the slow infrastructure charging network construction that Tesla did. Fisker Motors, founded in Anaheim, California in 2005, is one of the pioneers in the electric vehicle industry.
