According to the official introduction, the MR880A module supports 5G and 4G dual modes, which is more than 50% lower than the price of 5G NR modules; supports 5G functions such as 5G LAN, BWP, network slicing, high-precision time service, and supports China Mobile's OneNET and OneCyber platforms; it has LCC, M.2, Mini-PCIe and other packages, and is compatible with mainstream 5G and 4G modules.

5G RedCap is suitable for industrial control, smart power, video surveillance and other scenarios with strong demand for 5G characteristics or "5G". With the maturity of RedCap industry chain, the price of RedCap module is expected to approach the level of 4G module gradually.
