CTOnews.com May 13 news, Pixel 7a is Google's latest release of a mid-range phone, now found a new feature that no other Pixel phone has, allowing the phone to automatically reduce the vibration intensity when the screen is facing up, but this feature may eventually be applied to other Pixel phones.

This feature exists in Pixel 7a Settings-Sound and Vibration-Vibration and Touch, called "Adaptive Notification Vibration."

According to the description, the adaptive notification vibration "reduces the vibration intensity when the phone is stationary and the screen is facing up," which reduces interference to some extent. Currently this feature does not allow users to customize the vibration intensity levels that can be reduced.

Google also recently released a support document for the feature, but the document doesn't explain how adaptive notification vibrations work, only how to turn it on.

Google hid the "adaptive notification vibration" beta feature in Pixel Android 13 QPR2 Beta 1, but it was not officially launched for other Pixel phones.
