China Light and Power Union and BYD signed a strategic cooperation agreement to cooperate deeply in the fields of electric power and electric transportation.

Centering on the strategic goal of the national new energy storage development, the two sides will build a platform for exchange and cooperation in scientific and technological project cooperation, standard application and revision, safety risk assessment, production safety technical service, and the construction of energy storage technical service system.
The head of BYD's energy storage and new battery division expressed the hope that the two sides will achieve in-depth cooperation in the areas of power and electric transportation in the future to build a clean, low-carbon, safe and efficient new energy system.
