CTOnews.com May 14 News, in today's world, mobile apps have become an indispensable part of our lives. The German Association for Information Technology (Bitkom) recently conducted a survey to reveal how many smartphone apps people use on average. The survey shows that the average number of apps used by people is quite large, especially among young users.

According to the survey, the younger the interviewees are, the more applications they use. Only a small percentage (8%) of users are minimalists, using fewer than 10 apps on their smartphones. Another 17% of respondents only use 10-20 apps to deal with their daily lives. However, the average number of applications used by people is quite high, reaching 31. Users between the ages of 16 and 29 install an average of 42 apps on their smartphones, and that number decreases as they get older. This trend can be attributed to the fact that young people are better at using technology and are more receptive to new technologies.

The survey also found that the most popular apps are social media apps, while other popular apps include messaging apps, email apps and navigation apps.
