Samsung shipped 60.3 million units, ranking first; Apple ranked second with 5800 units shipped, with a market share of 21 percent; Xiaomi ranked third with 3050 units shipped; OPPO and vivo ranked in the top five with 2660 and 2090 units shipped, with a market share of 10 and 8 percent, respectively.

CTOnews.com, a global key region, learned from the chart that Apple's market share in China reached 20%, followed by 19%, Vivo, Glory and Xiaomi ranked third, fourth and fifth, with shares of 17%, 14% and 13%, respectively, of which Glory's annual growth rate dropped the most, reaching 35%.

Global smartphone shipments in the world's five largest markets fell 13% year-on-year to 270 million units in the first quarter of 2023. Canalys predicts a slight decline in the market in 2023.
